Dyneema and HMPE offer a lighter, safer, and stronger solution to traditional steel wire rope
English Braids manufacture high quality winchlines for use across all lifting applications from 1 Ton MBL up to and exceeding 600 Ton MBL, all of which are made in the UK
Dyneema and HMPE are 1/8 the weight of steel wire yet offer the same break load for the given diameter
As these products are synthetic, they are easier to handle and safer for users, at point of failure there is also no recoil compared with wire which can be of danger to life
HMPE is the chemical name for Dyneema SK75 fibres, English Braids are a key partner for dyneema and can offer the most suitable material for the intended application including SK75, SK78, SK99 and DM20 fibres
Our range of winchlines start from 8mm with an MBL of 6T and range up to 16mm with an MBL of 19T
We can also make bespoke diameters for larger requirements of up to 600T MBL. Winchlines can be produced in lengths up to 6000m in length
