Mechanical Steel Jacks

The jack is placed underneath the load, either on its head or a claw, the user then turns the operatingt lever or cranking handle clockwise which causes the jack's internal gears to engage, moving the shaft upwards. This mechanical action gradually lifts the load, allowing for precise control. 

Mechanical jacks are powered manually by turning a lever or crank, whereas hydraulic jacks use fluid pressure to lift loads. 

- Always inspect the jack before use. 

- Always use axel stands to support the load when working underneath a vehicle - jacks are NOT for long-term use. 

- Make sure the jack is properly alligned and positioned under the designated lift point to prevent damage and ensure stability. 

- Make sure that the ground or suface is level, firm and capable of supporting the jack's weight without sinking. 

- Lift and lower the load in small stages.
