We want to do everything we can to help your SafetyLiftinGear order go through smoothly.

We try to dispatch orders on or before the next working day, and you can even pick your purchases up from our warehouse in Bristol if you’d rather not pay for delivery. Ordering from the SafetyLiftinGear should be a pleasure, not a chore; here are several frequently asked questions which may help you when you make your order.

 

  • We aim to dispatch goods as timely as possible. If an order is received before 3pm on a working day (Monday - Friday) we will endeavour to dispatch the goods on the same day. Items despatched on a Friday will not be delivered until Monday on normal service. When an order is received on a weekend or bank holiday, we will endeavour to dispatch the goods on the next working day.

    All items are dispatched on a next working day service unless shipping to Scottish Highlands & Offshore Scottish Islands, Northern & Southern Ireland and Channel Islands (service restrictions with third party carriers). Even if the carrier services we use are reliable, we cannot provide any guarantee that the items will be received on the next working day. If you need more information or require an upgraded delivery service, please contact us and we can quote you for the service required.

    Our chosen couriers measure their CO2 emissions and are striving to reduce them. This means on occasion parcels may be delivered to a local pick-up shop, to avoid parcels being returned to the distributor. Original delivery charges will not be refunded for shipments that are delivered to a pick-up shop and it is the responsibility of the consumer to ensure goods are collected from the advised pick up location within the given time frame.

  • Yes. Save yourself delivery charges and collect direct from our warehouse at Unit R1D Rockingham Gate, Poplar Way West, Cabot Park, Bristol BS11 0YW. We are open for collections from 8:30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday (except public holidays). If you place your order online and wish to collect on the same day you placed your order, please contact us before you come and collect so that we can make sure everything is ready for you. Some items are large so please ensure if you are collecting that you have a suitable vehicle.

  • All items shown and purchased on our website are subject to the current VAT rate, which will be charged at checkout. By default all prices are displayed excluding VAT on our website.

  • Click on Your Account / Login as usual and type your email address. Then click on Forgotten Password and the system will send you an email reminding you of your password. You may then login as normal using your password.

  • Should you need to return your item(s), we need to be notified within 14 days of the delivery date. If you have created a user account then you can arrange returns via the ‘account management, Order History’ and selecting the relevant order and item you wish to return, otherwise you can simply email us at returns@safetyliftingear.com including your order reference number (SLG*****), the item(s) you would like to return and the reason for the return. We will reply with an authorised returns number and details on how you can send your item back to us. Items should be returned in unused condition & in the original packaging, due to the nature of our products a restocking fee may apply. Unfortunately delivery charges are not refundable. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse any items returned without an authorised returns number. Normally All refunds will be processed within 7- 10 working days on receipt of returned goods.

    Chain slings, Chain Blocks, Pump lifting chains, Lengths of chain, Hoists & Wire rope slings are custom made to order so are not covered by our returns policy. Please ensure when ordering all measurements and capacities are correct as we are unable to refund on these products.

  • To ensure the warranty process goes as efficiently as possible, you will need to obtain an ‘Authorised Returns’ number, which will need to be present and on the front of the product upon return (Failure to complete this action may result in the warranty claim not being processed) To receive this information you will be required to email warranty@safetyliftingear.com with a brief description highlighting the issue and your order reference number.
