Selecting Your Tow Rope

When it comes to selecting your tow rope, the most important thing to take into consideration is rope length and strength.

Generally speaking, a tow rope should have a breaking strength at least three times the weight of the vehicle it will be towing.

For roadside assistance, a shorter 4.5 meter rope should suffice, whereas for recovery in more difficult terrain, a longer rope of 6 meters or more is recommended.

All of our tow ropes have different specifications, so make sure that you’ve read the product description thoroughly before confirming your purchase.
