This policy outlines the warranty terms applicable to products supplied by Safety Liftin Gear and the process for submitting warranty claims.

Policy Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that warranty claims are assessed consistently and fairly while maintaining compliance with manufacturer requirements and industry standards.
Scope of Warranty Policy
This warranty policy applies to:
- Products supplied by Safety Liftin Gear
- Company own-brand equipment
- Third-party branded products supplied by Safety Liftin Gear
This policy does not apply to servicing work or general repairs outside warranty.
Standard Warranty Period
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the following warranty periods apply:

Warranty periods commence from the original invoice date.
Alternative commencement dates such as installation, commissioning, or delivery dates do not apply unless explicitly agreed in writing at the time of sale.
Submitting a Warranty Claim
Before returning any goods for warranty inspection, customers must submit a digital warranty claim form or submit the claim in writing.
Claims must include:
- Proof of purchase, including invoice reference
- Product serial number, where applicable
- Description of the fault
- Photographic evidence, where possible

Telephone notifications alone are not sufficient to initiate a warranty claim.
Submit a Warranty ClaimAuthorised Returns
Where a warranty claim is accepted for inspection, an Authorised Returns Number, known as a TSR, will be issued.
The TSR must be clearly displayed on the returned product or packaging.

Inspection and Warranty Assessment
All returned items are subject to technical inspection by a Safety Liftin Gear engineer.
Where required, the product may be returned to the original manufacturer or factory for further evaluation.
Following inspection, Safety Liftin Gear will determine whether the claim qualifies under warranty.
If the claim is validated, Safety Liftin Gear may, at its discretion:
- Repair the product
- Replace the product or defective components
- Issue a credit or refund where appropriate
Warranty Exclusions
Warranty coverage does not apply where inspection identifies damage or faults caused by:
- Misuse or improper operation
- Overloading or operation beyond rated capacity
- Use outside of the manufacturer's intended application
- Physical impact damage
- Water ingress
- Corrosion caused by environmental exposure
- Unauthorised modification or repair
- Normal wear and tear
Advance Replacements
Advance replacement of equipment prior to inspection is not standard practice.
In certain circumstances, and subject to management approval, Safety Liftin Gear may provide a temporary replacement solution.
Where appropriate, a hire unit may be supplied under standard hire terms and conditions.
Carriage Charges
Warranty coverage applies to goods located within the United Kingdom, excluding the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
For collection from Northern Ireland and certain remote areas of Scotland, including the Highlands and Islands, additional charges may apply.
For items located outside the UK, customers are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of returning the goods to Safety Liftin Gear.
For UK customers requesting collection, the following carriage charges apply:

If a warranty claim is confirmed to be valid, applicable carriage costs may be credited following inspection.
Limitation of Liability
Safety Liftin Gear shall not be liable for:
- Loss of business
- Loss of profit
- Operational downtime
- Consequential or indirect losses
Warranty remedies are limited to repair, replacement, or credit of a defective product.
