When should you use a scaffold harness?

• Construction industry guidelines recommend using safety harnesses when working on scaffolding above 4 meters or 13 feet.
   
• If a platform lacks guardrails or edge protection, you must wear a harness.

Scaffold Harness Best Practices

• Inspect the harness for damage or wear before every use.
   
• Make sure your harness fits snugly but comfortably and that all straps are adjusted properly. 
   
• Ensure all workers have received adequate training on how to use and maintain safety harnesses.
   
• A competent person should perform a detailed inspection at least once a year.
