We’re growing — and we’re looking for a skilled Lifting Equipment Engineer to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who’s technically minded, safety-focused, and ready to get hands-on with a wide range of gear and kit.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and testing lifting, materials handling, electrical, and fall protection equipment — in our depot and out at customer sites. You’ll also assist with local deliveries and support other operational tasks to keep our service running smoothly.

What You’ll Need

  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills
  • Experience with fault-finding and equipment repairs
  • Customer-focused with good communication skills
  • Attention to detail for inspections and reporting
  • LEEA qualification (desirable) or willingness to work towards it

We’re growing — and we’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive our next phase of expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused professional with strong relationship-building skills and a background in height safety or lifting equipment (or broader tool/equipment sales).

The Role

As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving sales, revenue, and profit growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities. You’ll build lasting relationships with clients across multiple sectors — understanding their operational needs and providing tailored lifting, safety, and handling solutions.

You’ll also represent SafetyLiftinGear at trade shows and industry events, helping strengthen our brand presence and generate new leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our market presence
  • Research and qualify leads, managing a robust sales pipeline
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
  • Deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure profitable agreements
  • Maintain detailed CRM records and provide accurate sales forecasting
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure excellent client experience
  • Represent the company professionally at trade shows and industry events

What You’ll Need

  • Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within lifting equipment & height safety sectors
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Excellent relationship-building and account management skills
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of customer needs
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Based between Bristol and London, with flexibility to travel across the region
