Hoists

To choose the right hoist for your lifting task, you will first need to determine your load's weight, size and required lift height. 

Once you have this information, consider the frequency and speed of lifting and whether or not you have access to a power source. At this stage, you should also consider whether the hoist will be used for indoor or outdoor tasks. 

• If you need to do frequent and heavy lifting, opt for an electric hoist.
   
• If you have no power source and will be lifting less frequently, opt for a manual chain or lever hoist. 
   
• If you have no power source and will be lifting relatively frequently, opt for a battery-powered hoist. 
   
• If you require rapid lifting speeds and continuous use, opt for an air powered hoist. 
   
• If you need a hoist for scaffolding work, opt for a scaffold hoist!
