Introducing our New Manual Stacker Trucks & Plasterboard Trolley

Here at SafetyLiftinGear it is our mission to provide our customers with a truly comprehensive range of lifting equipment, Personal safety products, material handling products, and much more. It feels like every week we are adding to our already comprehensive ranges. And this week is no different. This week we are excited to announce the new additions to our manual stacker ranges.

Our Manual stacker trucks are the ideal choice for manufacturing companies and businesses that operate from warehouses. Our new manual stack trucks are compact, allowing them to fit down narrow aisles, and can be used in the most confined spaces – with ease.

This week we have added 3 new manual lifting stack trucks to our range;

1000kg Manual Stack Truck with 3000mm Lift Height

When you are faced with a job that requires lifting heavy loads, make sure you are using suitable machinery to lift the load safely. This means using machinery that has the correct Working Load Limit. All of our manual stacker trucks have a different WLL (Working Load Limit) please check that you have selected the correct equipment for task at hand.

We have also added a brand new plaster board trolley to it drywall and plasterboard handling range. This 4 wheeled trolley has been specially design to handle the transportation of large, hard to handle sheets of plywood, drywall, panelling, door and even lumber. Aluminium Gantries From SafetyLiftinGear

If you need a suitable method of heavy lifting in confined areas, look no further than out selection of aluminium gantries. Designed to provide maximum security while also being easy to use, our gantry cranes are incredibly versatile and reliable, whether you're hiring yours for a specific job or purchasing it for extended use.

Each of our aluminium gantries is mounted on a set of 360°castors with a break function, which makes them incredibly easy to manoeuvre around site, while also providing stability when needed. They also have the benefit of being incredibly lightweight, which adds to their transportability and makes them even more appealing as a piece of flexible site equipment.

200kg Aluminium Gantry With 6mtr Beam

This aluminium gantry has a lower WLL than some of our other portable cranes, but has an impressive beam length of 6mtrs for great adaptability within that weight limit. As with all our aluminium gantries, however, the beams are interchangeable, allowing you allowing you to select a smaller length if that is what you require.

3500kg Aluminium Gantry With 3mtr Beam

This aluminium gantry crane is ideal for heavy-duty lifting in confined areas, thanks to the combination of it's generous WLL and short beam length. Like all of the products in this range, the aluminium gantry is well-suited to a number of applications, thanks to it's customizable set up and fantastic portability.

Failure to Provide Height Safety Gear Results in a Hefty Fine

Once again, a demolition company from Nottingham has been fined for breeching height safety procedures, for allowing their employees to work on a roof without any fall prevention measures in place.

Every day we check the news in the world of health and safety, and find it staggering how many companies are willing to disregard the safety of their employees. Luckily, this case did not lead to a fatal accident or serious injury, but this most certainly could have been the case if the issue had been left undetected.

The company in question were removing tiles from a steep roof without any form of PPE or fall arrest equipment, which meant that the individuals could have come to serious harm, had they fallen and slipped whilst carrying out the work. Those responsible were fined £6,000 by the courts, and were ordered to pay £765 in costs, although the financial debt is nothing compared to the guilt they would have had to endure if something had gone wrong.

Whether it's in the form of bank note, or worse, the life of an unsuspecting worker, those who ignore height safety will have to pay out eventually. That's why it's important to invest in proper height safety gear, to save money and lives, as well as securing your company's reputation.

Their products are already among the most popular in our Height Safety department, and so it gives us great pleasure to announce that we've just added a selection of new Petzl items to the SafetyLiftinGear website.
