No Falls Week: Spotlight on Safe Working at Height

No Falls Week 2026

This week (18th – 22nd May 2026) is the third No Falls Week. Launched in 2024 by the No Falls Foundation, this yearly awareness campaign aims to shine a spotlight on the risks associated with working at height while helping employers and workers to build safer habits and prevent avoidable accidents.

When you think of someone working at height, you probably picture a construction worker or tradesman. But work at height takes place across many different industry sectors, including...

  • Agriculture
  • Manufacturing
  • Retail
  • Transportation
  • Warehousing
  • Waste & Recycling

Workers in all of these sectors (and numerous others) have suffered injuries and, in some cases, lost their lives in preventable falls. According to the latest HSE statistics, falls from height remain the #1 cause of fatal workplace accidents in Great Britain.

The goal of No Falls Week is to try and change that.

What happens during No Falls Week?

This weeklong campaign encourages employers and workers across the UK to start conversations about height safety, brush up on best practices, and get serious about planning, training and equipment selection.

Throughout No Falls Week, participating organisations hold toolbox talks, safety demonstrations, and awareness sessions to help keep safe working at height front of mind.

Here at SafetyLiftinGear, we are proud to support initiatives like No Falls Week that promote safe and responsible working practices. We know that when people are working at height, there is no room for complacency. The right preparation and the right equipment can make a huge difference.
