The BLOODHOUND Project: There's an App for That!

As we've proudly stated again and again over the last few months, SafetyLiftinGear is the official supplier of lifting / material handling products to The BLOODHOUND Project, an attempt to both break the land speed record and inspire a new generation of scientists and engineers.

Of course, even if we weren't involved in The BLOODHOUND Project, we'd still be closely tracking its progress - after all, who wouldn't be interested in a supersonic car that can travel at 1000mph?

One of the latest developments from Team BLOODHOUND is the creation of a mobile app that allows you to get the inside scoop on The BLOODHOUND Project and related topics like the history of the land speed record and the science behind the car that will hopefully break it.

The app is available for iOS and Android devices - get it from the App Store or Google Play now! It costs less than a pound, and all proceeds will be invested back into the BLOOHOUND education programme, so your pennies will be going towards a very good cause! Product Spotlight: TM12 Lifting & Confined Space Rescue Device

The G-Force TM12 is a multi-purpose tripod and gantry that can be used for lifting and lowering materials as well as for working safely in confined spaces. The TM12 is lightweight and - since it can be broken down into its 3 constituent components - easily portable, too.

This video shows the TM12 being used in conjunction with a recovery winch - these are sold separately, although you can also choose to purchase your TM12 tripod and gantry with winch included.

The LODESTAR is a tough and durable Electric and Chain Hoist, and is designed to work in the most arduous applications. Material Lift Hire from SafetyLiftinGear

If you need to hire a material lift, we at SafetyLiftinGear are the people to call! We have a great range of material lifts and stackers in stock, and every single one is available to hire as well as to buy.

How to rent a material lift from SafetyLiftinGear:

Go to our Material Lifts page and select the product you'd like to hire.
On the product page, click + Hire Me to add the material lift to your SafetyLiftinGear hire basket.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you've finished browsing and everything you need is in your hire basket. We've got lots of great accessories for material lifts and stackers (including extension forks and load tables), so be sure to give our range a thorough browse before you complete your order!
Review your hire basket and, if everything's present and correct, click Enquire > to proceed to our Hire Enquiry page.
Fill out the Hire Enquiry form. You'll need to give us some contact details and answer a few important questions (e.g. What's your closest SafetyLiftinGear depot? How long do you need to hire the material lift for?) to help us provide an accurate hire quotation.
Click Proceed > to submit the enquiry form.

And that's all there is to it! Once you've submitted a hire enquiry, a member of the SafetyLiftinGear team will get back to you ASAP to quote you a hire price for the items you specified.
