Our 15mtr fall arrest retrieval winch and tripod are one of our best-selling fall arrest kits here at SafetyLiftinGear.

Fall Arrest Kits are essential for people who are working in confined spaces, as they help people enter and exit the confined space safely and easily. Our G-force CRW200 Fall Arrest Retrieval Winch operates as a standard fall arrest block but has an integral winch which is easy to function, so should the user slip or fall when are in a confined space, they can be winched up or lowered to a safe place, without delay. With a length of 15 meters, deep confined spaces will not be a problem to reach.

Our G-Force TM9 Tripod is fully adjustable for a height between 130cm and 230cm, and has multiple attachment points for your fall arrest block. So entering or exiting extremely deep confined spaces is no problem.  Our tripod is constructed out of aluminium making it extremely lightweight, so you can transport your tripod with you wherever you are working. The G-force TW9 also has additional chains around the bottom of the tripod so you can be confident that your tripod will not slip out of position.

We also stock storage bags for your TM9 tripod and the recommended G-force 910R Rescue Harness.

Working in a confined space can be very dangerous so it is important that you have the right Confined space equipment, to keep yourself and your work colleagues safe from potential hazards.

A confined space is defined as a space which is enclosed with limited exits, where serious injury can occur from hazardous conditions, such as, using chemicals that could combust, excessive heat from welding or even direct sunlight, the presence of toxic gases, fume or vapours which could lead to unconsciousness or asphyxiation, lack of oxygen in the confined space or even oxygen enrichment.

It is important to be aware that even if the space you are working in is not classed as a confined space when you begin your work, however it may become a confined space if there is a change in conditions, for example, and using toxic chemicals for cleaning purposes could produce toxic vapours. So before you start working in a confined space or a space that could become confined you need to be aware of the potential hazards and ensure that you have the correct equipment.
Here at SafetyLiftinGear we understand the dangers of working within confined spaces supply a range of confined space equipment to help keep you as safe as possible from harm when working in such conditions. We have a huge range of adjustable tripods, winches and gantries to aid your descent into confined places such as manholes and shafts.

Working with confined spaces can be incredibly dangerous, and it's imperative you have the correct confined space safety equipment to try and minimise risks. A confined space is a space that is enclosed, whether it's a small space or even a large space, it's also a space which has a reasonably foreseeable risk to workers. The risk could be potential fire, explosion, loss of consciousness, asphyxiation or even drowning. A space need not necessarily be small to be confined, but a large space can provide equal if not more danger for a worker.

Emergency Escape Breathing Apparatus

Working in a confined space is dangerous primarily because of the risks caused by noxious fumes, reduced oxygen levels or a risk of fire. You could also be at risk of flooding, drowning or asphyxiation from a source such as dust, grain or other contaminant.

SafetyLiftinGear can provide a range of high-quality confined space equipment that will help you and your employees stay as safe as possible. We offer a wife range of rescue equipment and entry gear for confined spaces, along with a variety of other items - such as gas detectors and breathing masks - that will help protect you and your workers during these dangerous conditions at all times.

Four Gas Detector

Our range of Confined Space Equipment includes the following:

Confined Space Rescue Kit c/w Fall Arrest / Retrieval Winch, Gas Detector, Breathing Apparatus

If you are working with confined spaces, please ensure you remain safe and minimise risks in every way possible. It's imperative for you and your workforce to identify any potential risks and have the appropriate confined space equipment to minimise these risks.
