Why Choose a Mechanical Manhole Cover Lifter?

Mechanical manhole cover lifters also have their benefits, they allow the operator complete control as the manhole cover is removed. The cover lifter you see here is the Probst SDH-M-10 Mechanical Manhole Cover Lifter. This style of manhole lifting cover utilises fold-out feet or lifting spindles to provide leverage so that even stubborn manhole covers can be removed. This model is capable of lifting 1000kg (1 tonne) and, much like our hydraulic manhole cover lifter, can be adjusted or dismantled for easy transportation.
