Colour Coded Round Slings
If you've been browsing round slings, you may have noticed that they are available in a range of different colours. Each colour denotes a different working load limit (WLL).
These colours make it quick and easy to identify which round sling you need for a given job. It also allows anyone to see, even in the middle of a task, what type of lifting equipment is being used.

As you can see from the round sling chart above, there are a number of different colours assigned to slings with different maximum weights. Orange round slings can handle anything from 10 tonnes to 30 tonnes, depending on the chosen strength.
The WLL can also vary depending on how the round sling is utilised. Using a basket lift can increase the sling's WLL, whereas using a choke lift can decrease it.
