I'm sure that lifting equipment isn't the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the words 'tag line'. And while we could sit here all day and reel off popular tag lines like, I'm lovin' it and you're worth it, these aren't the kind of tag lines we're addressing today.
If you work with cranes or other lifting equipment, you might have come across these mysterious 'other' tag lines before. In a construction setting, tag lines are used to help steady heavy loads as they ascend into the air, preventing uncontrollable spinning and accidental damage. I know, it doesn't quite have the same ring to it, but work with me here.
Each of our Crane Tag Lines is:
As if this didn't make these tag lines appealing enough, they also feature a reflective strip which means they can be used in low light conditions, or during the night.
When you choose our Crane Tag Lines, you can forget having to worry about securing your load using (often unreliable) ropes and knots. Our Crane Tag Lines feature either a reliable quick attach and release lifting eye or a sturdy steel snap hook that makes the attachment job ten times easier!
Your load doesn't have a suitable attachment point? Not to worry, this is where our Rubberised Straps come into play. Simply secure the rubberised strap around your load and secure the Crane Tag Lines to your rubberised strap instead!
We really think that our new range of Crane Tag Lines and Rubberised Straps will fit right in with your existing lifting equipment! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us on 0117 9381 600.

In fact, it’s specifically designed for the exact opposite! This useful kart is perfect for storing all your spill control products, allowing you to deal with a spill efficiently, safely and effectively.
With all your spill essentials in one place, it also comes with a 60-litre general purpose spill kit. What’s more, as this is an Armorgard product, it should come as no surprise that it also has a padlock-friendly latch to boot.

If you’re working on-site and have high-price items on hand, it can be a neon sign for thieves – especially when it comes to items like copper fittings and cabling.
Keep your high-ticket items out of reach and under lock and key, with the FC6 FittingStor secure site cabinet, specifically designed to keep crooks at bay.

While it is slightly smaller than the FC6 model, its ultra-tough exterior is completely opaque from the outside. This allows you to store power tools and smaller accessories within it both safely and discreetly, without providing thieves with a shop window.
Continuing the theme of copper protection, the PS3.0 PipeStor is perfect for storing lengths of piping in a safe and organised manner.
Often referred to as a “copper coffin”, this is one site storage container that will stop thieves dead in their tracks. With a single-end access point through a securely lockable door, there’s one way in and one way out.

Featuring a hinged, heavy-duty welded lid, the StrimmerSafe is also fitted with a bunded drip tray at the base to contain any accidental spills of oil or fuel.
If you prefer your strimmers to be kept safely secured in a more conventional manner, the StrimmerSafe Vault may be the product for you.
Also specifically designed for strimmers and the like, this highly secure site storage box is built for secure durability, complete with anti-force construction and an innovative heavy-duty locking mechanism.
With keyed alike 5-lever deadlock, the box is virtually impenetrable without permission. Even the deadlocks are serial numbered for specific key replacement.
Inside, this site storage container also features double slots, allowing you to store one or two strimmers as needed. Even the lid itself is optimised for owner accessibility, made with hydraulic gas struts for easy opening when required.

When it comes to forklifts and forklift attachments, finding a reliable supplier that consistently performs with an ironclad reputation to match is a lot harder than you might expect.
Luckily, there are a few standout brands in the industry – one of the finest being Invicta Forks and Attachments.
Founded way back in 1920, Invicta has grown to become the largest manufacturer and stockist of mechanical forklift attachments in the UK.
With a century of experience behind them, it’s safe to say that the guys and gals at Invicta know a thing or two about forklifts – which is exactly why we stock their products here at SafetyLiftinGear.com!
From forklift jibs for excessively heavy loads to hook attachments for awkward, non-palleted goods, Invicta really do run the gamut when it comes to forklift accessories.
If you need an attachment to modify your forklift, chances are that Invicta will have the product for you and your task. If they don’t have it, it’s probably not worth having anyway!
To give you an idea of the variety on display in the Invicta range, here are a few of the bestselling Invicta products in the SLG warehouse:
If your forklift is lacking a bit of length in the fork department, we can help you get that little bit of extra reach with the aid of an Invicta forklift extension.
Available in a variety of sizes, the various high-quality forklift extensions do exactly what the name suggests and can easily allow you to handle loads that are simply too big for a standard fork.
Choose from the following options:
Lifting jibs can be extremely useful, allowing for flexible lifting of long, bulky loads. These jibs simply slide over the forks of your forklift and secure in place with a safety chain.
The swivel hook can then be attached to the item you need to lift at varying points on the jib, providing further lifting flexibility and freedom of movement.
Invicta also specialise in extending jibs too, providing additional length to the arm while also supplying a sturdy, reliable mount that won’t buckle under the pressure.
Also known as “man baskets”, these high-rise platforms provide flexible accessibility for off-the-ground working, much in the way a traditional cherry picker does.
Providing a safe, adjustable stand for elevated working, these easy-to-use access platforms make for an efficient solution to working at height. Simply attach to your forklift and away you go!
Available in single-person and dual use varieties, the forklift “man basket” access platforms offer the perfect solution to high-level access, complete with bright orange colouration for visibility.
The varying models also include numerous other safety features – such as handrails, self-draining non-slip floor and harness attachment rings – providing increased stability and traction even in adverse weather conditions.
In addition to the aforementioned items, Invicta also stock a variety of unconventional forklift attachments for a range of specific uses. Here’s a few of the handiest and dandiest from the Invicta collection.
Dispose of your waste materials with ease using these heavy-duty tipping skips, capable of handling up to 1500kg and compatible with most standard forklift trucks.
Whether you’re looking to clear up granular debris or metallic materials, Invicta’s selection of forklift sweepers and forklift magnets provide the perfect solution.
From steel-jawed drum lifters and sand bag carriers to functional drum tilters, we stock a variety of Invicta lifting attachments for non-standard objects as well.
So, there you have it – plenty of great reasons to explore the Invicta range today with forklift attachments that are head and shoulders above the rest. For more information, call 0117 9381 600 today or drop us an email using the link below.
Warehouse lifting equipment is a vital part of day-to-day operations in a warehouse environment.
Warehouses are typically used to store raw materials, goods and machinery. Bulky items are commonplace, so heavy lifting is often par for the course. This means that high-quality lifting and handling equipment is a must!
Lifting Equipment Material Handling
When it comes to lifting heavy goods in a warehouse environment, there are a wide variety of solutions to choose from - though naturally the right tool for the job will depend on the nature of the job that needs doing.
Here are some of the warehouse lifting and handling products we offer here at SafetyLiftinGear:
An absolute staple of any warehouse, the pallet truck has been indispensable ever since its invention way back in 1947. For context, back in 1947, Clement Attlee was Prime Minister and Britain was still in post-war recovery mode.
The fact that this piece of equipment is still top dog today proves its staying power and shows that it's unlikely to be going anywhere anytime soon. All the more reason to make sure you have one in your warehouse!
When it comes to purchasing a pallet truck, there are a few things to keep in mind. The humble pallet truck has evolved significantly over the last three quarters of a century and now comes in a variety of forms, including:
Also known as 'walkie stackers', material lifts are a common sight in warehouses due to the simple fact that they are highly effective for the task at hand. Capable of lifting heavy loads to impressive heights, these lifters are great for loading and unloading HGVs, as well as for standard warehouse use.
Material lifts come in hand-winch form as well as the more popular battery / electric powered models. They can also be supplied with a variety of different load bases, typically available as a fork / platform or a hook for hoisting.
Another popular piece of equipment for warehouse workers is the platform table. Often referred to as hydraulic tables or scissor lifts, this versatile product is essentially an adjustable platform, raised to a height of your choosing for easy access to places that are typically inaccessible for heavy items. This heavy-duty apparatus is usually manually powered by a foot pedal.
The fork-mounted loadlifter is the perfect tool for warehouses that deal with items such as heavy roll cages, e.g. those associated with supermarket chains. The loadlifter is specifically designed to provide easy access to a range of articulated vehicles, enabling simple and safe loading / unloading for delivery and transportation purposes.
