It has been predicted that this year we are going to experience the harshest weather conditions since records began; Bookies have slashed the odds on -14C freeze this winter from 7/2 to 4/1.
Love or hate winter, it is important to stay warm when you are working outside on a construction, work, builder’s site, and docks or, in a factory or warehouse.
Here at SafetyLiftinGear we have been working on extending our ranges over the summer and now offer a range of Wet & Cold Gear available as part of our PPE & Work wear department. In our Wet & cold wear range you will find our top quality thermal vets and leggings ideal for keeping you warm while you are working outside. We also stock High visibility fleece lined bomber jackets, quilt lined contractor coats and waterproof and wind proof jacket harnesses.

To prevent the amount of time your employees are off sick, make sure you are keeping them warm while they are at work. Here at SafetyLiftinGear we stock a large range of high quality fan, infra-red, convector and industrial fan heaters. Starting and finishing work in the dark is not fun. More accidents at work happen when during times of restricted visibility, which is why it is so important to wear high visibility clothing. However, trips and falls in the workplace can also cause serious injury, especially if you are contracted out to a work site. At SafetyLiftinGear we stock a huge range of torches designed especially with work people in mind.
If you are working in reduced light, we have a wide range of Cree and Petzl adjustable LCD head torches. We stock have heavy duty 4 LED rubber grip aluminium torches, and a variety of high quality rechargeable inspection lamps, and rechargeable 108 LED Portable Floodlights ideal for lighting areas of your work site.

Earlier this year, we announced that we were planning on opening a new SafetyLiftinGear depot in West London. We are now proud to announce that our new West London Depot is now open, and ready to trade.
Last year safety lifting gear took its first steps into expansion with the opening of depots in Bridgewater, London, Leeds and Cardiff. This year we have continued to expand, opening a new safety lifting gear depot in West Drayton.
Our West Drayton Depot is a 5 minute drive from ideally located for our customers, old and new, from Slough, West London, and the surrounding areas to come and take advantage of our tool repair and hire service, or to purchase our full range of products.
This new depot opening brings the company’s UK footprint to 6 depots and trade counters, including our head offices located in Bristol. No matter which Depot you visit, you can expect a warm welcome, second -to-none expert advice, and excellent customer service.
This year we also expanded into lifting equipment hire. A new service created, so our customers could rent our products instead of purchasing them. This service has proven to be hugely popular with our customers and so now our entire range is now available to hire. You are now able to hire lifting equipment from our website or at one of our 6 trade counters around the UK.
Information of all our trade counters can be found on our contact page.
